Adventures in Monotangles #4 - Indy-Rella

Wow so this is week four.

So the 1st month is almost done.

It has been a crazy month, and I am happy that I have been able to keep up with the Adventures. I am happy that this month has been crazy, as it shows me that even when life is crazy, I'll be able to keep this up.

The great news is I am feeling great! Starting Friday I'll start working out again. I have let that slip when I was sick. My 1st goal is to be able to run 2.2 Miles in under 20 Minutes, which is more than doable. Once I can I'll stop driving into work, and I'll run to the YMCA, maybe do some weights then shower and go to work. Then run home. I used to walk both ways, then I bought a car and got lazy. My goal is to be able to do this in the next month, so we shall see.

This weeks adventure is my favorite Tangle, it is also the 1st tangle I ever did a Monotangle with. It is one of the two tangles Molly taught during the monotangle section of the CZT training class. It also happens to be one of the Tangles Molly created. The Tangle is Indy-Rella

How to draw Indy-Rella can be found here.
(Please note: This is not a step-out as this is an official pattern, but 1/2 down the page sandy shows a great example of this tangle)

Here is the Tile I created for this weeks Adventure!

OK go forth and make Monotangles of Indy-Rella, and have fun!

~Roy

P.S.
Here are some Monotangles of Indy-Rella I had previously done:

    1. The Music was tied to the Slideshow for Adventures #1, it must be to old to show on the main page now....
When I do the slide show for #3 I'll add music again,so it will be back tomorrow night, maybe tonight. Hope you have fun with this Adventure!

    1. Monica, yest it is a certified Tangle, if you look at the tangles I have done, and Sandy's page I linked above and try your best I am sure you can come up with something. I'll have to find it but one of my early favorite tiles has a paradox on it that I tired to do before seeing the step-out, it is interesting how your mind tells you to do things. Next weeks adventure will be a public tangle to make it easier....So will the majority of the "Tangle" adventures.

  6. I clicked on the how-to-draw link you provided and was surprised to see my own page pop up. I wonder if that's how other people feel when I do it to them. lol Of course, Indy-rella is a CZT pattern so I haven't posted the steps to draw it... don't be gettin' me in trouble, Roy. ;o) People still have to workshop with a CZT to get the steps for those! Thanks for these challenges... they're fun!

    1. Not trying to get you in trouble, but you have a decent version of it on your site. When looking around I saw it, and as there are no step-outs I figured that your site could help people. I do want to say I love that page of yours, so many wonderful Tangle drawings. I hope you do not mind I linked to you, I figured more people should see that page.

  10. This is a fun tangle to use. Still have to be deliberate in your strokes though. This was play-time with my gel pens.

    1. Don't worry there really is no deadline. The slide show is normally created between friday and sunday so if you want your work in the slideshow, it should be done by then.
